If you hold the unlit candle up to your nose, the candle has a nice scent. However, once the candle is lit, you can’t smell a thing. The jar is pretty, with a tight fitting lid. That’s what got this the second star.

Have tried over a dozen different brands of scented soy wax candle. This brand is the best available on amazon, and compares with candles costing more than twice as much. They burn clean, for many hours and the fragrances are great! We like all the wood based scents, the lavender and the Citrus Basil!
