We begin to experience insomnia, joint and muscle inflammation and pain, fatigue, hypertension, perhaps heart constriction, indigestion, higher cholesterol levels, impotence, either lack of or excess appetite resulting in weight loss or weight gain, weakened immune system making us vulnerable to colds and flu, and so on. Emotionally we experience feelings of irritability, impatience, lack of sexual interest, lack of concentration, depression, restlessness, excessive alertness and reaction to normal external stimuli, or feelings of being constantly overwhelmed and helpless.

Our bodies need time to recover from being in crisis mode due to stress and anxiety in order to restore normal physical balance and functioning. We need a break from and relief from the stress and anxiety in order to maintain our health. Stress Relief For Moms: What Can You Do?

Perhaps you’ve always thought that a toolkit was something men liked but wasn’t something you ever wanted to own for yourself. Well, if we’re talking about the clanking sort that is used to repair things then I’m not surprised. However, there is another kind of toolbox and it is the mom life saver kind, the one full of resources that you can use to give yourself a break or a quick pep up in order to continue on with what you were doing.

While the standard things like coffee, cakes, chocolate and alcohol maybe your first port of call when things get tough, they really aren’t the best things to use. There is no denying that they can be great short term fixes but they carry a price tag in the form of reduced performance later on. Instead of relying on these things to get you through it is better to find better solutions and enjoy a glass of wine because you want one not because you ‘need’ it.

What exactly ought to go in your stress relieving toolbox?

. websites that you enjoy visiting – they could be your favorite mom stress relief blogs, magazines, parenting sites, celebrity gossip – just make sure that they make you feel better about yourself and life and don’t stress you out further.

In this present world of hurry and worry, stress has become a mandatory part and parcel of life. Chinese Herbal Remedies For Stress Relief

However, if you’re not used to caffeine, it may keep you awake at night.

Today its drastic effects on human nature are extensively studied and different types of remedies are suggested to an individual so that the society can be improved. One of the major remedy that is suggested comes from nature, i.e. use of herbs to relieve from stress and its side effects. It really helped me deal with my general anxiety to a certain extent but it didn’t stop panic attacks. I found that I had to take Valerian for about thirty days before I noticed the reduction in anxiety. I also noticed a reduction in back pain. But it really did help keep the anxiety at manageable levels after that until I didn’t need it anymore.

Siberian Ginseng – This herb packs a punch when it comes to stress relief. Its benefits are: increases resistance to stress, combats mental fatigue, relieves fatigue, depression and anxiety, increases energy, diminishes irritability and lethargy and strengthens the nervous system.
